Ardiente

Ardiente is a guard-gated 55+ active adult community tucked into North Las Vegas along the I-15 corridor, built over roughly a decade through a rare three-builder lineage — Centex Homes broke ground in 2005, the project was absorbed into Pulte through the 2009 Centex–Pulte merger, and Shea Homes took over in 2010 to complete all 788 single-story homes by 2017. The result is a Tuscan- and Spanish-inspired neighborhood with four distinct home collections — Riviera, Monte Carlo, Portofino, and the original Centex series — ranging from about 1,200 to 2,800+ square feet, 2 to 4 bedrooms, 2 to 3 bathrooms, and attached two-car garages. Shea's homes are Shea Green Certified with energy-efficient features, and many resale homes now include prepaid solar panels and upgraded interiors. The location is genuinely convenient: the I-15 entrance is down the street, the 215 Beltway is minutes away, Downtown Las Vegas is a 15-minute drive, and the Strip is about 20 minutes south. Shadow Creek Golf Course, the Tom Fazio–designed resort course, sits less than three miles away. The North Las Vegas VA Medical Center — a full hospital, outpatient clinic, and long-term care facility — is about five minutes from the gate, and Nellis Air Force Base is a 10-minute drive, making Ardiente a particularly strong fit for retired veterans. Surrounding North Las Vegas continues to build out with shopping, restaurants, and services, and Ardiente consistently prices well below comparable 55+ communities in Summerlin or Henderson, making it one of the most attainable guard-gated active adult options in Southern Nevada.
