Most have flexible bonus spaces that owners use as offices, dens, or craft rooms. The community is golf cart friendly and wraps around the public Mainlands Golf Course, a par-67 executive course with a pro shop, cart rentals, and restaurant open to residents and the general public — residents can literally drive a cart from their driveway to the first tee. Daily life tends to center on the Unit clubhouses, the pool, and the golf course, with additional nearby options at Freedom Lake Park (dog park, fishing, walking track, Korean War Memorial), Helen Howarth Park, and Sawgrass Lake Park. Location is the other major selling point.
