Four Seasons at Virginia Crossing is K. Hovnanian's flagship 55+ active adult community in Woodbridge, Virginia, tucked into Prince William County about 25 miles south of Washington, D.C. Construction kicked off in 2021 and the community is built out to a planned total of 185 single-level attached villas and mid-rise condominium homes, with condos continuing to sell and the villa collection largely sold out by late 2025. The home collection is intentionally focused on low-maintenance, single-level living. Six one-story condo plans range from the 1,383 sq ft Aydon up to the 1,884 sq ft Farnsworth, each with two bedrooms, two to two-and-a-half bathrooms, a dedicated home office, open-concept living, and walk-in closets in every bedroom. Owner's suites include spa bathrooms with double vanities and separate tubs and showers, and some condos add a private balcony. The attached villa collection (Villanova, Seton Hall, and Rutgers floor plans) spans roughly 1,958 to 2,295 square feet, two bedrooms plus office space, two-and-a-half baths, and one- or two-car attached garages with optional covered patios off the great room. Across the board, finishes lean modern — quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, engineered hardwood in the main living areas, gourmet kitchens with large islands and spacious pantries — with customizable options for accessibility that make aging-in-place realistic. Daily life centers on the resort-style clubhouse/amenity center. Inside there's a fitness center, multi-purpose and meeting rooms for clubs and classes, and a community room for socials. Outside, residents have both an outdoor pool with whirlpool spa and a spacious sundeck with cabanas, plus an indoor pool for year-round swimming — a real plus in Northern Virginia winters. The grounds also include a bocce ball court, pickleball and tennis courts, walking and biking trails, an outdoor kitchen, firepit, gazebo, and BBQ area. A full-time activities director keeps the calendar full, programming social clubs, special-interest groups, fitness classes, and community events so residents have an easy path into the lifestyle from day one. The HOA handles landscaping, snow removal, trash, water and sewer, and all the common amenities, which is a big part of the appeal — no mowing, no plowing, no maintenance headaches. The community sits in the Neabsco/Forestdale part of Woodbridge, minutes from I-95 and the commuter rail, close to the Potomac and Occoquan Rivers, and adjacent to a major mixed-use development bringing Whole Foods, Wawa, and additional retail right to the community's doorstep. Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is less than five minutes away, Potomac Mills and Potomac Town Center are a short drive, and the full cultural and employment gravity of D.C. and Northern Virginia sits at the north end of I-95. For active adults who want Northern Virginia access — to grandkids in Fairfax, museums in D.C., airports, and nationally ranked medical care — without taking on a single-family home and yard, Four Seasons at Virginia Crossing is one of the tightest-designed 55+ options in the region.
