Four Seasons at Lakewood is a gated 55+ active adult community in eastern Ocean County, New Jersey, built by K. Hovnanian between 1994 and 1999. The community contains 1,319 residences — 1,011 single-family homes and 308 condominium units (often called "quad" attached homes) — spread across scenic, winding streets lined with mature trees, open green spaces, and a signature entry pond with waterfalls cascading from a river-stone community sign. A covered gatehouse with brick paver drive aisles sets the tone for the resort-style feel inside. Single-family homes generally offer 2–3 bedrooms, 2–3 baths, and 1 or 2-car garages, with some plans featuring lofts. Attached quad homes typically range from about 1,200–1,400 sq ft; some include garages and sunroom additions on the side. All homes are resale — the community sold out in 1999 and is no longer building new construction. A community-run resale office is located on-site on Spring Meadow Drive.
