Ridgecrest is Arizona's first Trilogy Boutique Community by Shea Homes — an intimate, gated 55+ enclave tucked into the most elevated scenic reaches of the 7,100-acre Vistancia master plan in North Peoria. Positioned in the Sonoran foothills of Northpointe between White Peak and Twin Buttes, the 414-home community is wrapped by roughly 1,000 acres of high desert and mountain preserves, delivering dark skies, panoramic West Valley views, and a genuine basecamp feel that sets it apart from larger Phoenix-area active adult developments. Shea broke ground in 2024 and held the grand opening of the model home gallery in April 2025. The community is purpose-built as Trilogy's new "Boutique" concept — the same wellness, connection, and freedom lifestyle that made Trilogy at Vistancia (Shea's sold-out 3,300-home community, located about a mile south) famous, delivered on a more personal scale. Homes are all single-story, single-family detached, ranging from 1,649 to 3,040 square feet across three floor plan collections: Freedom 35 (1,649-1,988 sq ft), Freedom 45 (2,112-2,573 sq ft), and the Ridge Collection (2,721-3,040 sq ft). Floor plans offer 2-4 bedrooms, 2-3.5 baths, and 2-3 car garages, with contemporary indoor-outdoor designs that capture the Arizona desert lifestyle. The heart of the community is Open — a Trilogy Wellness + Social Club. This roughly 6,000 sq ft private clubhouse is being designed by Greey Pickett, GSB Architects & Interiors, and TRIO to evoke the feel of a boutique hotel lobby, with biophilic elements, extensive glass, natural light, and nature-inspired textures. When complete (projected 2027), Open will include indoor and outdoor social spaces, a state-of-the-art fitness and movement studio with Trilogy's signature Afterburn program, outdoor fitness and event lawns, a resort pool with lap lanes, pickleball courts, bocce ball, a socially driven bar, and casual dining open day and night. Hospitality-trained staff deliver Trilogy's "Live Happier" lifestyle programming — events, activities, wellness experiences, and more. Until Open finishes, residents receive a temporary EoS Fitness membership. A dog park and walking trails are also part of the community, and homeowners have easy access to Vistancia's 3.5-mile Discovery Trail. Lifestyle beyond the gates is a major selling point. Golfers have the Trilogy at Vistancia Golf Club (a daily-fee championship course) just down the road.
