Greenwich Walk is a 350-home, 55+ active adult community nestled within the larger FoxCreek master-planned community in Chesterfield County's Moseley, Virginia — about 26 miles southwest of downtown Richmond. Developed by TerraForge and built out by a rotating lineup of respected Virginia builders including Ryan Homes, Stylecraft Homes, HHHunt Homes, and Boone Homes, the community offers an unusually wide mix of housing for a 55+ neighborhood: attached townhomes with first-floor primary suites and two-car garages, detached condominium villas with single-family-home feel, one-level villas from Stylecraft, and three-story elevator condos from Ryan Homes that put every residence on one level with zero stairs. Construction began around 2016 and continues today, with new-build inventory still actively selling. The social heart of the community is the private Greenwich Club, a dedicated 55+ clubhouse with a state-of-the-art fitness center, sauna, multi-purpose rooms for meetings and private events, a business center, and an outdoor pool and patio that serve as a warm-weather gathering spot. In addition to their own clubhouse, Greenwich Walk homeowners are automatically members of the Terrace Swim & Racquet Club — FoxCreek's larger amenity hub — which adds an indoor lap pool for year-round swimming, three lighted tennis courts, additional fitness space, and a grand clubhouse with multi-purpose rooms. Newer sections of the community also include pickleball courts and a hot tub, and residents have access to a dog park. Outdoors, the neighborhood is threaded with walking and jogging trails that meander through wooded areas, wetlands, and past two large ponds with lighted fountains. The ponds are stocked for fishing and open to canoeing and kayaking. Landscaping and exterior maintenance are covered through the HOA, so residents genuinely get the low-maintenance lifestyle the community is marketed around. Location is one of Greenwich Walk's strongest selling points. The community sits just off Otterdale Road and Hull Street Road (Route 360), about four miles west of Route 288. Publix and Cosby Village are within walking distance, Hancock Village shopping center (Food Lion, Walmart, Lowe's) is roughly four miles away, and the Commonwealth Center (Target, Fresh Market, movie theater) is a short drive further east along 360. Downtown Richmond and its museums, hospitals, and cultural scene sit about 26 miles northeast, and Richmond International Airport is about 38 miles away. Chesterfield County's rolling wooded hills give the community a quiet, almost rural feel despite the close-in conveniences.
