Woodbury is a 400-home master-planned community in Apex, North Carolina, built by Pulte Homes between 2018 and 2021 on rolling acreage just off New Hill Olive Chapel Road. Though not deed-restricted, the community has drawn a meaningful share of active-adult buyers thanks to its single-story ranch plans, low-maintenance lifestyle positioning, and amenity package designed around an active, social community. Sixty-five of the homes belong to the single-story Cottage series — compact ranch designs from 1,656 to 1,885 square feet that appeal especially to downsizers. The balance of the community includes larger ranch homes up to 2,993 square feet, two-story single-family homes from 2,564 to 3,526 square feet, and a small collection of townhomes between 1,818 and 1,979 square feet. The architectural theme throughout is Southern farmhouse — shake accents, wrapping front porches, gabled roofs, and board-and-batten siding — giving Woodbury a coherent, distinctly North Carolina look that sets it apart from the beige-stucco production builds elsewhere in the Triangle.
