Altis at Serenity is Tri Pointe Homes' first 55+ lifestyle brand community on the East Coast — and only the third Altis community nationwide. Announced in 2024 and officially grand-opened in July 2025, the neighborhood occupies roughly 220 acres inside Greenfield Communities' 550-acre master-planned Serenity development in Northwest Harnett County, just minutes from downtown Fuquay-Varina and easy drives to Raleigh, Holly Springs, Apex, and Cary. At buildout, Altis will add 425 homes to Serenity's planned total of roughly 1,257 residences. Tri Pointe offers nine distinct floorplans across three home collections — the Grove, the Pines, and the Meadows — ranging from 1,281 to 3,290 square feet, with 2 to 4 bedrooms, 2 to 4.5 baths, and two-bay garages. Architectural styles include Modern Farmhouse, Craftsman, and Cape Cod exteriors. Homes are built with energy-efficient systems, water-saving fixtures, smart temperature control, low-VOC materials, and whole-home mesh WiFi. The design program earned recognition from the NC Home Builders Association as Best Aging in Place Project. The community's lifestyle centerpiece is a private 55+ amenity center exclusive to Altis residents. Plans call for a resort-style pool, pickleball courts, a dog park, event lawns, a yoga studio, a state-of-the-art fitness center, catering kitchen and multi-purpose gathering rooms, and indoor-outdoor entertainment spaces.
