Trilogy at Glen Ivy is a luxury 55+ active adult community of 1,317 homes built by Shea Homes between 2001 and 2008, tucked into the foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains in South Corona, California. The community overlooks Temescal Canyon and is ringed by the Cleveland National Forest, giving residents a rare combination of dramatic mountain and forest views alongside easy freeway access to Orange County, Los Angeles, the desert, and the coast. With over 6,000 residents, Trilogy has become one of the most established and socially vibrant retirement destinations in Southern California. Homes are primarily single-story detached residences with a smaller collection of attached condos in two-story buildings served by stairs and elevators. Fifteen floor plans range from roughly 1,290 to 2,253 square feet, and many have been personalized over the years with upgrades like granite counters, plantation shutters, wood flooring, spa-style bathrooms, and gourmet kitchens. The detached homes sit within separate gated enclaves woven through the golf course, and most back to either mountain, fairway, or canyon views. The centerpiece of community life is two clubhouses. Pacific Crest Lodge, roughly 13,000 square feet, is the social hub with a lounge and fireplace overlooking the course, a grand ballroom with full kitchen, a billiards parlor, a craft and ceramics studio, a card room, a learning center offering classes in photography, cooking, glass fusion, and painting, and The Nines Restaurant and Bar. The Blue Water Sports Club is a 15,000-square-foot wellness facility with a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor lap pool, outdoor junior-Olympic saltwater pool, spa, cabanas, aerobics and dance studio, an elevated indoor walking and running track, locker rooms, a bistro, and a center for well-being. A separate Lake Center adds another ballroom, a library, and the HOA office. Outdoor amenities include four tennis courts, six pickleball courts, an outdoor amphitheater for summer concerts, extensive walking and biking trails, and an RV parking lot. Golf defines the landscape. The 18-hole, par-72 Glen Ivy Golf Club was designed by Ted Robinson Sr. and weaves through citrus groves, hillsides, and canyons, culminating in a signature 18th hole with a dramatic 200-foot drop. The course is open to the public, has hosted The Skins Game, and includes a driving range and Canyons Grille. Immediately adjacent to the community is Glen Ivy Hot Springs, a historic destination spa dating back to the 1860s known for its mineral baths, mud pools, and wellness treatments. Social life is the other defining feature. An onsite activities coordinator programs daily events, and residents have organized more than 300 clubs and special interest groups — pickleball, tennis, travel (cruises and day trips), wine tasting, car club, crafts, bible study, dance, book club, volunteer groups, concerts, and more. The community has been voted a Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite multiple years running, and residents consistently describe it as a place where you can be as busy or as quiet as you want. Location is a major draw. Trilogy sits roughly 50 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles with direct access to I-15, about 20 minutes from downtown Corona, 15 miles from Orange County, and 30-40 minutes from Temecula Wine Country's 40+ wineries. The Shops at Dos Lagos, Target, and major grocery stores are a 5-10 minute drive, and Cleveland National Forest's 450,000 acres of hiking and biking are essentially out the back gate.
