The Colony at Mandalay Beach

The Colony at Mandalay Beach is a gated 55+ beachfront community in Oxnard, California, positioned on the Gold Coast between Malibu and Santa Barbara and adjacent to the Zachari Dunes on Mandalay Beach resort (formerly Embassy Suites, now a Curio Collection by Hilton). Built between 1984 and 1987, the community comprises 440 tile-roofed attached homes arranged across three beautifully landscaped Spanish-style sections behind 24-hour guarded gates. The coastal Mediterranean architecture, mature palms, lush walking paths, rolling lawns, and manicured gardens give the community a resort-like feel that many residents describe as vacation living every day. The home collection is a mix of two-story townhomes and single-story villas ranging from 1,113 to 2,692 square feet, offering two or three bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, and attached two-car garages.
