Telaro at Tradition

Telaro at Tradition is Mattamy Homes' debut 55+ luxury active adult community in South Florida, set within the acclaimed master-planned community of Tradition in Port St. Lucie. Mattamy broke ground in April 2021 on what was billed as their first 55-plus luxury development in South Florida, and since then Telaro has grown into a gated enclave of 440 contemporary villas and single-family homes, all behind its own access-controlled entrance on what the developer describes as a private amenity island. Homes are organized into three collections — Serenity (villas), Tranquility (mid-size single-family), and Oasis (the largest single-family plans) — with roughly 11-12 floor plans ranging from about 1,370 to 2,838 square feet, 2-3 bedrooms, 2-3 bathrooms, and 2-3 car garages. Elevations come in Contemporary, Coastal, and Transitional styles. Construction is CBS (concrete block), with impact glass windows, natural gas appliances (including gas ranges, dryers, and tankless water heaters on many plans), and energy-efficient systems as standard — rare features for the Treasure Coast. Quick move-in inventory is typically available alongside pick-your-lot builds that take about 4-7 months to complete. The centerpiece of community life is the 20,000-square-foot clubhouse, which opened in late 2024 on its own private access island within the neighborhood. The two-level building houses a state-of-the-art fitness center with weight training, spin, and aerobics studios; a spa with massage rooms, saunas, and steam rooms; a demonstration kitchen for cooking classes; an art center; card rooms and game rooms; multi-purpose meeting spaces; a social hall; and a grab-and-go cafe. The clubhouse overlooks a resort-style pool, a lap pool, and cabanas, with a poolside cafe and market.
