Astor Creek Golf & Country Club is a gated, all-ages country club community set on 682 acres in western Port St. Lucie, Florida, on the Treasure Coast. Opened for home sales in October 2023, the community is planned for approximately 900 single-family homes and is being developed jointly by Kolter Homes (roughly 750 homesites) and Taylor Morrison (approximately 150 homesites). It sits just west of Kolter's PGA Village Verano community, near the intersection of I-95 and Florida's Turnpike, and is centrally positioned between the St. Lucie West and Tradition activity hubs. The community is built around an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Chris Wilczynski — par 72, nearly 6,900 yards, with a rating of 72.1 and slope of 130. The practice facility is a standout: a 15-acre grass driving range, a 3-acre short game complex, and a 15,000 square-foot putting green. Every new home purchase includes a resident golf membership, making Astor Creek one of the few new-construction bundled-golf communities on the Treasure Coast. Annual club dues apply in addition to the monthly HOA, but there is no initiation fee. The social and fitness center of the community is The 1566 Club, named for the year Spanish explorers first charted the nearby Indian River region. Resident amenities include a resort-style pool, a full-service bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, a state-of-the-art fitness center powered by the EGYM circuit training system, 16 pickleball courts, tennis courts, bocce courts, and basketball courts. A full-time lifestyle director coordinates social programming and a sports director runs tennis and pickleball activities. Homes are one-story, open-concept designs (with optional second-floor bonus rooms on some plans) offering 2 to 6 bedrooms and ranging from approximately 1,968 to more than 5,000 square feet of air-conditioned living space. Kolter offers 14+ customizable floor plans with over 40 structural options and hundreds of fixture and finish selections through its on-site Design Studio; Taylor Morrison contributes 7 single-story plans. Base pricing starts in the upper $500Ks, with move-in-ready inventory typically running from the mid-$600Ks into the $900Ks, and fully upgraded estate homes reaching $1M to $2M+. Many homesites feature golf course, water, or landscape views, and the site plan emphasizes spacious lots with no back-to-back neighbors. Astor Creek is not age-restricted — it markets to golf enthusiasts, active adults, and families alike — but the bundled-golf format, single-story home focus, and resort-style amenity package skew the buyer profile heavily toward move-down and empty-nester retirees. The Treasure Coast location offers easy access to Hutchinson Island beaches (about 25 minutes), the Palm Beaches (40 minutes south), and downtown Fort Pierce's historic district. Orlando and Miami are both within roughly two hours.
