New Horizons South Bay is one of the oldest planned 55+ communities in the United States, developed between 1963 and 1964 on 80 landscaped acres in the heart of Torrance, California. With 600 condominium residences spread across two-story buildings and single-level bungalows, it pioneered the active adult lifestyle concept in Southern California and still delivers it today — at a price point that's remarkably accessible for the South Bay.
