Carolina Riverside is a new Del Webb 55+ active adult community in Belmont, North Carolina, set on 462 acres bordered by the South Fork of the Catawba River. Construction began in late 2023 with plans for more than 800 single-family ranch homes, making this one of the newest and largest age-restricted communities in the Charlotte metro. The setting is the big draw — wooded edges, riverfront scenery, and seasonal river views give the neighborhood a tucked-away feel even though downtown Belmont is just minutes away and Charlotte is roughly 15 miles east.
