Cresswind Charlotte is Kolter Homes' award-winning 55+ active adult community spread across 370 wooded acres in the Mint Hill area on the eastern edge of Charlotte, North Carolina. Gated and nature-rich, the community sits just off I-485 about 25 minutes from Uptown Charlotte, 25 miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, and a short drive from the shops and restaurants of downtown Mint Hill. Kolter broke ground here in 2016 as its debut North Carolina community and the neighborhood is approaching completion — recent announcements flagged a small handful of remaining homesites in the Tryon Collection, with the Trade Collection continuing to sell newly built homes priced in the $700s and $800s. At the center of the community is Club Cresswind, a roughly 17,000–18,000 square foot residents-only clubhouse that serves as the social engine of the neighborhood. Day-to-day convenience is strong for a nature-set community: a shopping plaza with a grocery store and pharmacy is about three miles away, Novant Health is building a new hospital directly next door to the community, and Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center is 25 minutes away.
