Carolina Reserve Meadows is the active-adult-oriented neighborhood within the larger Carolina Reserve master-planned community in Indian Land, South Carolina, just south of the North Carolina border in Lancaster County. Developed by Lennar Homes between 2012 and 2016, Carolina Reserve is divided into two distinct sections — The Meadows (239 homesites) geared toward empty nesters and those seeking a more care-free lifestyle, and The Enclave (165 homesites) which leans more family-oriented — for a total of 404 homes. Although not deed-restricted 55+, The Meadows was intentionally designed around low-maintenance living, with HOA-included lawn care, ranch-style floor plans, and a mature, quieter feel that attracts a significant retirement-age population.
