Avalon is a coastal North Carolina community of 308 single-family homes built by D.R. Horton, tucked into a tree-lined setting in Bolivia, Brunswick County, roughly ten miles from the Atlantic beaches of Oak Island. Though not deed-restricted, the community strongly appeals to active adults and retirees drawn to low-maintenance single-level living, coastal warmth, and a close-knit neighborhood feel.
