Braddock Preserve at Winslow

Braddock Preserve at Winslow is a well-established 55+ active adult community set on 154 wooded acres in Winslow Township's Berlin section of Camden County, New Jersey. Originally launched as The Gatherings at Braddock Preserve, the community was started by DeLuca Homes in 2005 and completed by Beazer Homes in 2014, resulting in 222 detached single-family ranch-style homes on roughly one-fifth-acre lots. Homes sit along a landscaped main entry boulevard with scenic ponds and underground utilities that keep sightlines clean throughout the neighborhood. DeLuca Homes introduced eight original floor plans ranging from approximately 1,400 to 2,300+ square feet with one or two bedrooms, two or two-and-a-half baths, and attached two-car garages. When Beazer Homes took over in 2012, they added six additional models from roughly 1,600 to 2,000+ square feet, some with lofts and second-floor guest suites pushing living space to 2,500 sq ft. Homes feature vinyl, stucco, and stone exteriors and commonly include hardwood floors, crown molding, sunrooms, gas fireplaces, upgraded kitchens with granite or quartz counters, cathedral or tray ceilings, corner soaking tubs, and paver patios. Some homes also include basements. The social heart of the community is a 3,741 sq ft award-winning clubhouse with an elegant lounge anchored by a fireplace, catering kitchen, conference and meeting rooms, lending library, billiards and game room with card tables, arts and crafts studio, and a well-equipped fitness center with cardio and strength equipment. Outdoors, residents enjoy a heated swimming pool with patio, bocce ball courts, a putting green, a greenhouse, and scenic walking and biking trails weaving past the community's ponds. Braddock Preserve doesn't employ an activities director, but residents run an active social calendar themselves — theater trips to New York City and Atlantic City, holiday parties, poker nights, men's and ladies' nights, bowling outings, movie and dinner nights, pinochle, Mah Jongg, bike tours, and mystery dinners. The monthly HOA dues cover lawn care and snow removal for all driveways, walkways, and parking areas, delivering a true lock-and-go lifestyle. Location is a major selling point. The community sits off Cross Keys Road with quick access to Route 42, Route 73, and the Atlantic City Expressway. Daily shopping is handled at the nearby Berlin Shopping Plaza, with upscale options like the Promenade at Sagemore, Cherry Hill Mall, and Deptford Mall about 15 minutes away. Residents are within easy reach of Philadelphia, Trenton, Atlantic City, and even day trips to New York City, plus concerts at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion (formerly Susquehanna Bank Arts Center) and the Camden Waterfront with the Adventure Aquarium. Philadelphia International Airport and Atlantic City International Airport are both a reasonable drive.
