Leisure Park

Leisure Park is an established 55+ retirement community in Hayden, Idaho, tucked into the scenic Panhandle just 15 minutes north of downtown Coeur d'Alene and about 40 minutes from Spokane, Washington. Founded in 1985 and expanded through 2018, the community has been home to active retirees for nearly four decades, built around a philosophy of comfortable, affordable one-level living in one of Northern Idaho's most beautiful settings. The community consists of 245 single-family and attached patio homes, all designed for first-floor living with no stairs. Homes range from compact patio homes around 1,100 square feet up to roomier single-family homes approaching 2,500 square feet and beyond, with a variety of architectural styles and lot sizes. Residents can choose to maintain their own lots or hire the work out, making the lifestyle as hands-on or hands-off as they prefer. Recent sales have ranged roughly from the high $200Ks for smaller patio homes to the low $600Ks for larger three-bedroom homes with upgrades and larger lots. Monthly dues cover road snow plowing, maintenance of private streets and common areas, and water usage — Leisure Park has its own community-owned water system, which is a rare advantage.
