Once you set foot on the property, it's not hard to understand why people love the . Everywhere you look there are gorgeous views of the water, including from the gorgeous clubhouse that overlooks the lakes.

Downtown Mt. Dora is extremely close by, so you'll gain access to a variety of restaurants, shops, live music venues, and art festivals. It's like having the resort lifestyle, but still living in a quiet and respectful community.

All the homes in the Lakes of Mount Dora are beautiful, with builds by some of the best contractors in Florida. As such, they come with a slightly higher price tag starting at around $350,000. You'll also have to pay the Lakes of Mt Dora HOA fee of $250 each month.

Gatherings of Lake Nona

Another community in Florida that is worth paying slightly more for is the Gatherings of Lake Nona. The breathtaking complex is made up of condos, which means you won't have any upkeep or maintenance to have to worry about.

With a pool, dog park, gym, and pickleball courts you have most of what you need on the grounds. But, if you want more you can easily access the tons of restaurants, music venues, and shopping areas nearby using your golf cart.

With a newly built VA hospital close by, the Gatherings of Lake Nona have something for everyone and the homes only start at the high $200s. Unfortunately, you'll have to pay the high Gatherings of Lake Nona HOA of $575 each month.

Under $300,000: Arlington Ridge

In Arlington Ridge, you'll have no problem finding an activity you love. The property is well-known for its 18-hole golf course, but it also has a resort-style outdoor pool, hot tub, crafts room, recreation hall, and gym.

The community has an energetic atmosphere, so you should have no issue staying active and busy with your fellow residents. The new theatre provides a perfect opportunity to unwind and relax while watching a good movie and there are plenty of retail stores and shops nearby.

Homes in Arlington Ridge start around $200,000, so it's a perfect option for those on a budget who still want world-class amenities.
