Meadowood

Meadowood is an 847-home master-planned community nestled in northwest Strongsville, Ohio, off Albion, Priem, and N. Marks Roads. Developed by award-winning Northeast Ohio builder Bob Schmitt Homes — a pioneer in energy-efficient building — the community was built in four phases beginning in 1976 and completing in the mid-1990s, with a handful of final homes wrapping up around 2000. The neighborhood is a quiet, wooded retreat with over 600 acres of common ground, mature tree canopy, curbed and sidewalked streets, and homesites measuring roughly 75–95 feet wide on quarter- to half-acre lots. Many homes back up to HOA-owned green space, extending open or wooded views. Location is a standout: Meadowood sits in one of Cleveland's most desirable western suburbs, with quick access to Interstates 71, 80, and the Ohio Turnpike. Downtown Cleveland is about 20 miles away; Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is roughly 7 miles.
