Avenbury Lakes is a 352-home active adult community in Avon, Ohio, developed by Scaletta Development Corporation between 1996 and 2006. What sets it apart is its conservation-first design: more than 48% of the community's 146 acres is dedicated to open space, including 23 acres of protected wetlands, three catch-and-release fishing lakes, and miles of walking and biking trails.
