Adelwood is Del Webb's newest 55+ active adult community in Minnesota, tucked into the outer-ring Twin Cities suburb of Chaska. Built by Del Webb (a PulteGroup brand), the community launched in 2021 with an initial plan of 90 homes that has since expanded to roughly 200 single-family homes, and quick move-in homes are still being delivered as the community approaches build-out. Homes at Adelwood are contemporary, single-level designs sized for empty-nesters and active retirees. Floor plans range from about 1,222 to 2,330 square feet with one to three bedrooms, and include the Passport, Blue Rock, Trailblazer, and Castlerock plans, several of which offer optional upstairs lofts or flex rooms that can be configured as a den, guest room, home office, or hobby space. Construction quality is backed by Del Webb's Build Quality Experience and a homebuilder's warranty. Social life centers on an 8,100-square-foot clubhouse with classic Minnesotan architecture — Craftsman accents, a stone facade, and floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto a lush lawn and patio seating. Inside is a state-of-the-art fitness center with an on-demand studio for classes, multi-purpose and meeting rooms, and gathering spaces for clubs and events. Outside, residents have a heated outdoor pool for Minnesota's warmer months, pickleball courts, bocce ball courts, walking and biking trails, and plenty of greenspace and ponds woven through the neighborhood. A full-time lifestyle director is on staff to organize clubs, classes, and special-interest groups so the calendar stays full.
