Tidewater by Del Webb is a gated, resort-style 55+ active adult community set on 132 acres in the heart of Estero, Florida — perfectly positioned between Fort Myers and Naples in Lee County. Developed by Del Webb (a PulteGroup brand), Tidewater was built out between 2015 and 2020 and contains 380 single-family homes and attached villas clustered around six scenic lakes. Construction is complete; homes are now exclusively resale, and Tidewater has matured into one of Southwest Florida's most established active adult communities. Home designs came from three Del Webb series. The Villa Series offers attached two-bedroom-plus-den villas around 1,542 square feet (the popular Serenity floor plan), ideal for lock-and-leave snowbirds. The Classic Series features detached single-family homes on 50-foot lots from roughly 1,600 to 1,900 square feet, including the Abbeyville and Summerwood plans. The Estate Series features larger detached homes up to 2,859 square feet, including the Pinnacle, Martin Ray, and Tangerly Oak floor plans — two- and three-bedroom layouts with dens, two- to three-car garages, and optional lofts. Nearly every home includes natural gas (a rarity in Southwest Florida), impact-resistant windows and doors, granite or quartz countertops, tile flooring, open-concept great rooms, and extended covered lanais.
