Inverness is a 266-home master-planned community spread across 106 acres at the corner of Bryan and Feise Roads in Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, within the Wentzville School District of St. Charles County. Launched in 2020 on land originally owned by the Bopp family — what McKelvey Homes' president famously called "probably the most sought-after neighborhood farm in St. Charles County" — Inverness brings together four respected regional builders: McKelvey Homes, Fischer Homes, Lombardo Homes, and Payne Family Homes, each contributing their own signature home series. The site plan is the community's defining feature. Rather than a grid of cookie-cutter lots, homesites cluster around enclaves radiating off a main boulevard, linked by landscaped roundabouts, distinctive stone monuments (some with pedestrian arches), and a meandering trail system that winds between enclaves and cul-de-sacs as an alternative to sidewalks.
